The International Capacitation Programme, one of the central initiatives of the UDI-A Project, has formally started last Saturday, 3rd March, with a warmth Welcome Ceremony led by the Rector of NOVA, Professor João Sáàgua, and Professor João Amaro de Matos, Vice-Rector for International Development.
The Welcome ceremony included several informal meetings between the CHAMPIONS and representatives from different organic units of NOVA. They have also been offered a laptop which will be in their possession until the end of the project and will, then, belong to their High Education Institutions at the Centres for Academic Development and Innovation to be created. It was an opportunity to break the ice between CHAMPIONS coming from different African partner universities that are now working together at their European Topic Partners locations.
It was a great moment of interaction and communication between the CHAMPIONS and the team at NOVA, who carefully planned their stay in Lisbon.
